Crane Operation Safety Measures
Issue
During crane operation, the operator on the ground must be made aware of any danger of falling luggage or colliding with cargo.
Proposal
The output from the control panel during crane operation is transmitted to the WIO transmitter, which wirelessly sends signals to the WIO receiver. While the crane is in operation, EHV with a maximum sound pressure of 110 dB connected to the WIO receiver, alerts ground operators to prevent accidents. Since the transmitter/receiver of the WIO are connected wirelessly, it reduces the time and cost of wiring to the control panel which might be placed at a height or at a distance.
